The significance of brain plasticity is for the ability of the brain to reorganize neural pathways based on new experiences.It can change with new experiences and allows us to obtain more knowledge.
The way the brain is mapped out is why people have certian fetishes. The most common fetish is feet because it is right next to the genitalia area of the brain. The next two common fetishes are legs and trunk(abs) and i think those are actually more common than feet because feet are ugly to me! lol But the throat, teeth, tounge and mouth area are farthest from the genitalia area in the brain they are more of the rare fetishes.
